Yield Enhancement Process Engineering Intern

Qorvo’s Yield Enhancement Process Engineering Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, and Connectivity and Sensors business groups. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Responsibilities may include:

• Working on the Yield Team to partner with fab Process Engineers and Data Scientists to solve factory yield issues
• Using various analytical techniques including predictive modelling to improve process control
• Analyzing data to optimize factory performance, increase yields, and reduce costs
• Collaborating with engineers to establish control plans to optimize equipment and process performance

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics with strong data analysis skills
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
•  Programming experience: Python, R, SQL, Apache Spark
• Experience with data analysis and data visualization tools  (Tableau, PowerBI, Spotfire, JMP, Plotly, Matlab)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
