Responsibilities:

  • Analytical reporting and presenting AOI Yield Trends with key defect pareto and corrective actions for systematic continuous defect improvement
  • Lead/participate in cross functional teams with process and equipment engineers to solve defect limited yield issues.  Initiate and execute defect elimination and reduction projects through root cause investigation and closed-loop responses for corrective actions.  Strengthen inline Statistical Process Controls for critical tools and processes through defect key learning. 
  • Support AOI recipe creation and optimization. 

 

Qualifications:

  • BS or advance degree in Physics, Engineering, or related science field. 
  • Experience with Wafer Fab Defect Metrology Tools (Macro, BF, DF, SEM, 3D Bump, etc.) and industry defect metrology equipment preferred. 
  • Good working knowledge of Statistical Process Controls (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE) and their applications used for process and equipment engineers in a wafer fab. 
  • Fundamental understanding of statistical techniques for process evaluation using multi-variate analysis, ANOVA, Kruskal-Wallis’s analysis.  Experience with data analytics using Spotfire, and/or JMP, Device RF/Filter Physics, operating and interpreting failure analysis tools & techniques, along with Yield Modeling for systematic yield forecast and improvement will be a plus.    
  • Ability to summarize results/data to concise language and capable to communicate the key message to a broad range of audiences.
  • Consistent and good work ethics.  Team player with active listening skills.
