Qorvo’s Technical Marketing Internships are offered in our Connectivity Systems Business Unit (CSBU) within the Connectivity and Sensors Group. Namely, the internship will be based in Qorvo Toulouse site and focus on Ultra Wideband (UWB) for mobile phones and wearables applications. The intern will provide eventually a comprehensive landscape of UWB competition form both marketing and technical standpoints.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ultra Wideband market analysis (Mobile, Wearable, Security)
  • Get hands on experience working on mobile phones / smartwatches hardware teardown activities
  • Sourcing of teardowns / reverse engineering: project management of subcontractors activities
  • Study of RF fixture design activities including PCB design, layout and chipset implementation
  • Gain experience and working knowledge of how UWB IC’s are manufactured, tested and used
  • Potential competitive characterization/measurements campaigns
  • Document system implementations from Qorvo’s customers (Reverse engineering, Competitive benchmarking)
  • Produce clear concise presentations and reports
  • Report and present out at the end of the internship on the work performed

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or having a double degree in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration / Marketing
  • Analog/RF components course work and/or experience
  • Familiarity with semiconductor devices and Analog/RF measurements is required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong analytics skills
  • Knowledge of project and product management
  • Detail oriented and motivated to ensure delivery of accurate business dashboards and summaries
  • Communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Eagerness to learn, solve problems and make an impact
  • Confident self-starter and comfortable to collaborate with new colleagues, mostly senior engineers and product managers
