Intro
Who faced a bug in products we use? Everyone.
How many of us did take time to file a bug report for the issue faced? Few of us.
The reality is that products contain bugs, those bugs lead to failures (fatal or not). Until failures are monitored in a systematic way you can’t be certain that your product reached the expected level of quality.
Summary
The internship, based in Toulouse, will enable you to join the Solution architecture team. With the guidance from solution architect, you will design a system to monitor failures across Qorvo UWB SW stack.
Mission
- Analyze the existing bugs from internal database and identify the different types of failures
- Propose a way to classify failures by identifying their fingerprints
- Identify collection points in SW stack to capture failures in a systematic way
- Implement proof of concept collection of failures and reporting
- Build dashboard to track failures evolutions across products and SW versions
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, for a student in last year of engineering degree
- Knowledge of Python for data analysis
- Knowledge of C or C++ for system programming
- Familiar with bug tracking systems (Jira)
- Basic understanding of Android or/and Linux development
- Fluent in English
