As part of our R&D team, specializing in secure embedded solutions, we offer you the opportunity to contribute to the security of tomorrow's embedded systems. This internship will provide you with valuable experience in a challenging and innovative technical environment where embedded software security is at the core of our expertise.
You will participate in projects focused on developing and integrating security technologies in critical embedded systems, including sectors such as automotive, IoT, and aerospace.
Responsibilities:
As an embedded software security intern, your main responsibilities will include:
- Secure Provisioning: Setting up and managing secure provisioning processes for embedded devices.
- Secure Boot & Secure Bootloader: Designing, implementing, and improving secure boot mechanisms and secure bootloaders to protect systems from boot-level attacks.
- Secure Debugging: Contributing to the implementation of secure debugging solutions to protect debug interfaces from unauthorized access.
- Cryptography: Implementing cryptographic primitives to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity of embedded systems.
- Firmware Security: Analyzing and securing embedded firmware against potential attacks.
- Software Development: Contributing to secure code development in C, C++, and Python for critical projects.
- Technology Watch: Keeping up with new trends in embedded security and participating in discussions on the evolution of existing solutions.
- Compliance with Security Standards: Ensuring compliance with key security standards, such as GlobalPlatform, Common Criteria (CC), ISO, and IEEE, to ensure the robustness and conformity of the developed solutions.
Required Profile:
- Education: Final-year student (Master’s degree) from an engineering school or university, specializing in cybersecurity, embedded systems, or cryptography.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in C and C++ for low-level software development.
- Strong knowledge of Python for tool and script development.
- Solid understanding of cryptography (AES, RSA, ECC, Quantum cryptography etc.) and implementation of cryptographic primitives.
- Familiarity with Secure Boot, secure bootloaders, and firmware security.
- Knowledge of embedded system security (secure provisioning, secure debugging, etc.).
- Familiarity with security standards such as GlobalPlatform, Common Criteria (CC), ISO, and IEEE.
- Soft Skills:
- Detail-oriented and methodical with strong analytical skills.
- A passion for cybersecurity and technological innovation.
- Good communication skills and a strong team spirit.
