SUMMARY

 

Our team is seeking an engineer for software development and support for a semiconductor fabrication facility for the process of testing radio frequency (RF) filters. This also includes evaluating issues or new requests, mapping out a solution, and then the implementation and subsequent testing of that solution. Additionally, this position involves research into new technologies and evaluation of new hardware and software for continuous improvements.

 

Responsibilities may include:

  • Streamline application and software processes, developing and maintaining software for various projects
  • Benchmark various software to maximize efficiency and develop improvements
  • Drive API development to support data structure, data access, data integration, data visualization, database design and implementation
  • Document and report following the teams design practices
  • Provide comprehensive support to internal customers; achieve resolution to outstanding problems or issues

 

Qualifications:

  • BS, MS, PhD in Computer or Electrical Engineering
  • 0-2 years experience required.
  • Competence using XML/HTML/C# Java or Python/C++
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity/understanding of IDEs, multithreading paradigms, shell scripting, algorithms and data-structures
  • Experience/knowledge of RF theory, S-parameter measurement, transmission lines, network analyzers, impedance matching is a plus. 
  • Experience with on wafer testing or wafer fabrication preferred.
  • Self-Starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • This role will require 10% travel to our Richardson, TX facility.
