RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Test code development for RF components, such as power amplifiers, LNAs, S/W.
• RF evaluation/characterization of RF front end modules and components for 4G/5G cell phone applications.
• Implementation of hardware and software for automated and semi-automated RF tests.
• Hands on build up and debugging of test setups.
• Analyzing performance data and supporting design engineers to ensure accurate product characterization.
• Provide clear and concise reports using the latest data analysis tools.
• Documentation and presentation of results.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS or MS in EE required, focus on RF and/or Telecommunication preferred.
• Demonstrated experience developing automated test solutions incorporating RF/mixed-signal test and measurement equipment.
• Experience with RF measurements preferred.
• Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Spotfire, Exensio or Excel.
• Software Competence desired: Working knowledge of programming languages like VB.NET, C#, Python.
• Hardware Competence needed: Spectrum Analyzers / Vector Network Analyzers / Power Meters / Signal Generators / Digital I/O / Oscilloscopes / Power supplies / Couplers / Isolators / Filters / Diplexers.
• Good understanding of power amplifier performance test techniques/methodologies.
• Familiarity with LTE Advanced / 5G measurements: ACLR, EVM, SEM, PAE, IMD, S-parameters, ESD Testing desired but not needed.
• Familiar with PCB layout techniques for optimum RF performance.
• Strong track record of independently analyzing test data and assessing compliance with performance requirements. This includes effective troubleshooting skills to isolate test failures/anomalies and to develop recovery action plans.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex technical information effectively to internal and customer stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration, team skills and a continual learner attitude.
