This role is within our dynamic and growing Connectivity Systems Business Unit (CSBU) focused on Ultra Wideband (UWB) and other connectivity standards including Bluetooth and Matter and will help shape the future of IoT connectivity!

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Representing Qorvo connectivity products to customers withing North America
  • Influence the definition our Silicon and SW roadmaps by articulating the technical needs of our customers to deliver next generation IoT solutions that meet emerging market needs for location, connectivity and security
  • Manage and nurture customer relationships
  • Drive UWB market growth through partnerships and ecosystem development
  • Produce marketing and technical documentation to drive customer understanding of Qorvo technology and the optimum ways in which to use it in particular applications
  • Develop training materials for and closely collaborate with FAE teams, field sales teams, and factory applications and marketing

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience and 5+ years of embedded SW/ HW design or applications support in a customer facing technical role
  • Strong technical understanding of wireless protocols (BT, 6LowPAN, ZigBee, Thread etc.) is a plus
  • Knowledge of development and support of MCUs (STM, Nordic) and associated peripheral drivers (USB, SPI, I2C, UART etc)
  • A problem-solving approach and a strong desire to see the customer succeed
  • Solution and ‘Value Proposition’ oriented, with focus to contribute to business growth
  • Excellent communications and customer interfacing skills
  • Target oriented and clear focus on results achievements
  • Team player
  • Analytical, accurate, creative, flexible, open minded
  • Can work independently, a self-starter, takes initiative

 

 

 

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $148,400 - $193,000, relevant for the California Bay Area (subject to change dependent on physical location).

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits.
