Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years in field applications support, including electrical design, driver and software integration support, mechanical integration and full system bring-up at customer site. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering, a related field or equivalent practical/industry experience. 

1. Primarily an Electrical or Computer Engineering backgrounds and have some reasonable level of Embedded Software Skills.  
2. At least 5 years of work experience supporting hardware integration into applications with embedded microprocessors, and a reasonable familiarity with software programming to support the hardware integration. 
3. Must have:

• EE background.

  Embedded system integration experience.

    4. Better to have:

• SOC debugging experience.
• FAE support experience.
• Fluent English isn’t necessary. If the candidate didn’t speak English well but have good strong technical background, our colleagues can join the interview and help to translate.

Responsibilities:

• Support customers with electrical and mechanical design
• Deliver and port Force Sensor software to customer platforms
• Technical support for Software, Hardware, Mechanical and application-specific system issues.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary system integration efforts combining electrical, embedded software, hardware and mechanical solutions.
• Training and direction of Distributor’s FAE
• Pre-design-in Sales promotion support.
• Support customers with system design validation and debug from prototype to stable mass production.
• Liaison between Qorvo Force Sensor Corporate Teams and customer from concept to mass production

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Experience:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience, including on site field applications support, electrical design, driver & software integration support, mechanical integration, and full system bring-up at customer site
• Working for a US based company providing on-site technical field support to resolve customer issues in real time
• Formal device qualification at high volume customer leading to production

Knowledge/Skills Required:

• Electrical design expert, with proficiency in circuit design and layout (board level)
• Driver and Software knowledge
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work with multi-discipline internal and external engineering teams
• Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. English proficiency required.
