SUMMARY:
Qorvo is seeking an experienced Production Test Development Manager to spearhead our US-based test development team in the Power Management division. This leadership role is crucial for ensuring the integrity and performance of our innovative Power Management ICs, catering to a diverse array of applications including Mobile, Consumer, IoT, and Industrial sectors. This role demands a leader skilled in navigating the complexities of Power Management IC production test while bridging the gap between design and test engineering.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and manage the test development team for Power Management ICs in the US

Develop and enforce test strategies to ensure product reliability and performance

Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of automated test systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the US and Asia to support product development and production

Ensure timely delivery of high-quality test solutions that meet production schedules

Mentor and develop team members to enhance their technical and professional skills

Optimize test processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in test engineering
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science (BS) degree (or greater) in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with 15+ years of industry experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in management

Proficient in automated test including design, development, and maintenance

Proficient with software development and debug on ATE systems (Cohu DMDx, Teradyne ETS88 or Sinetest STT)

Experience with schematic design for socketed test fixtures, probe cards, and load boards

Experience with test development of Power Management ICs including Buck, Boost, LDO, and Microcontroller Units.

Knowledgeable in I2C and SPI serial communication protocols

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

Excellent organizational and project management skills
For Bay Area, CA only:
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $158,400 - $205,800, relevant for the California Bay Area (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
