Mixed Signal Verification Engineer

 

We are looking for an experienced FV engineer to join our Digital Design Group. You will have a unique opportunity to work and gain competence in several areas such as Analog modeling (SystemVerilog RNM), Top-Level Layer-1 Die verification, test planning and test bench development . You will be part of a dynamic team with learning opportunities, plus working with various Analog design teams in Qorvo.

 

Responsibilities

  • You will be part of a team that performs verification planning and AMS simulation on Module(Multi-Die)/Die level products.
  • You will implement and improve functional verification of mixed-signal designs.
  • Develop test plans, test benches, and verification methodologies to verify the microarchitecture and design
  • You will perform failure analysis and resolution, coverage analysis, and population
  • Knowledge of digital/mixed-signal modeling.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and 5+ years of verification experience preferably in mixed-signal products.
  • Strong background in Analog design and good understanding of RF design.
  • An understanding of Verilog, VerilogA, and SystemVerilog.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Teaming closely with digital/analog designers and chip leads.
  • Ability to create, evaluate, debug, and improve our verification process.
  • Opportunity to mentor junior engineers in verification methodology.

 

 

This position is located in Greensboro, NC

This is a hybrid position and will follow a 2+ day in-office work schedule, with in-office days based on business needs and team preference. You must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning employment
