Sr. Characterization Engineer

Responsibilities: 

• Determine the compliance of Qorvo products to customer and internal specifications 
• Measure the product using test equipment like spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators and digital pattern generators 
• Provide guidance to technicians on the use of the product and test equipment 
• Develop measurement automation using Microsoft C#.NET along with custom tools 
• Analyze the performance data of the product using SAS JMP, Microsoft Excel and custom software 
• Engineers in this position commonly interact with Design Engineers to understand the product design and provide performance feedback 

Qualifications: 

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
• 6+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience in software test development using object-oriented programming languages; C#.NET preferred  
• Completed some analog/RF circuit design course work 
• Ability to use data visualization tools such as Spotfire, Jump or Excel and presentation tools such as PowerPoint 

• Strong collaboration skills  
• Self-Starter with good communication skills 
• Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information 
• Detail oriented to ensure design and delivery of high yielding products 
• Be able to enjoy working in fast paced work environment
