Qorvo SFBU is looking for an Solutions Engineer - System Integration

In this role, you will be working closely with our mechanical, electrical, and software teams to integrate our sensing products into our customer's electronic devices. We work closely with different OEMs on next generation products such as mobile phone, smart surfaces and wearables, etc. 

This will provide you with an opportunity to understand how different products are designed and manufactured. In this role, you will see the entire process from concept design, proof of concept builds through mass production.  Your task will focus on system software integration and algorithm development. There will also be opportunities for traveling to customer headquarters in Asia and Europe. This job will give you the opportunity to work closely with MEMs and CMOS designers, helping them continuously improve the family of products we offer. This is a fast-paced role, we need engineers who are hungry to learn and move fast.

Requirements:

• BS in Engineering required, EE, ECE, EECS or ME preferred
• 8+ years of relevant work experience
• Circuit design, schematic capture and board layout
• Python or C++ programming for prototypes
• Experience for Embedded software or Android OS;
• SW development, maintenance, test functionality
• Documentation within existing and expanding code base
• Strong Version control skills (bitbucket/GIT)
• Excellent HW/SW debugging and problem-solving skills

Desired experiences:

• Sensor signal post-processing
• Development of software and drivers for SOC microprocessors and their peripherals
• Experience designing Proof-of-Concepts
• Experience with consumer electronics

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $128,500 - $167,000, relevant for the California Bay Area (subject to change dependent on physical location).

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
