SUMMARY
Based in the Qorvo, Sophia Antipolis office (France), part of the Connectivity Systems Business Unit (CSBU), the Senior Product Validation Engineer will contribute to the system validation and debug of UWB, BLE and MATTER solutions dedicated to Qorvo connectivity products. He / she will work in close collaboration with Qorvo product definition and solution architecture teams, as well as with software development and integration teams.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and execute the Product Validation plans for UWB, BLE and MATTER products, ensuring coverage of all functional and performance requirements
  • Develop and maintain end-to-end test environments, internally or through partnerships
  • Implement automated test scripts and tools to support comprehensive product-level testing
  • Integrate test environments with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Continuously improve the test environments, incorporating new features, tools, and technologies as needed
  • Document test environments configuration, setup, and usage procedures, and provide training and support to other engineers
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, and support product certifications as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the test environment, working closely with cross-functional teams
  • Analyze test results, defects, and issues, and provide regular reports to project stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Product Definition team, and Solution Architects to define and implement validation strategies for new products and features
  • Participate to project reviews and provide feedback on product requirements, ensuring that system-level testability and validation requirements are considered in the design flow
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers in the team, providing technical guidance and support

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in engineering school or Master
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Proven track record in product validation, testing, and quality assurance in the field of wireless communication technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Strong knowledge of radio communication systems and standard bodies (3GPP, Wifi, BLE or other); knowledge of UWB is a plus 
  • Expertise with Python programming, experience with C/C++
  • Technical understanding: embedded systems, real-time OS/firmware, network & RF software layers, embeded security and secure element
  • Android experience will be a strong plus (Linux Kernel, HAL, Android flow, Java/Apk)
  • Ability to read HW schematics, use oscilloscope, logic analyzer and RF tester equipment
  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Likes to work in complex projects involving multiple parties and work packages spread among several teams and stakeholders
  • Work across different cultures
  • Ability to travel to APAC and USA (up to 20% time)
  • Good communication and reporting skills
  • Very fluent in English, spoken and written
