Qorvo’s Software Characterization Engineering Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, and Connectivity and Sensors business groups. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

 

Responsibilities may include:

  • Developing and implementing automated RF test solutions to support the characterization and compliance testing of WiFi, LTE, and other power amplifiers, switches, and other devices
  • Designing, developing, and implementing cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment for all phases of product development
  • Streamlining application and software processes, developing and maintaining software for various projects
  • Benchmarking various software to maximize efficiency and develop improvements
  • Driving API development to support data structure, data access, data integration, data visualization, database design and implementation
  • Documenting and reporting following the team's design practices
  • Providing comprehensive support to internal customers and achieving resolution to outstanding problems or issues

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Competence using C# Java Python C++
  • Excellent debugging and problem solving skills
  • Familiarity/understanding of IEDs, mutithreading paradigms, shell scripting, algorithms and data-structures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
