Job Title:  Sr Customer Quality Engineer


  • 5+ year relevant semiconductor industry working experience or CQE experience providing customer quality support.
  • Knowledge of Quality Systems, semiconductor process & failure analysis, device physics, and tools such as 8D, SPC, FMEA, etc. 
  • Strong background knowledge and experience in Microelectronic / Electronics Engineering which covers: Semiconductor & IC circuit theory and wireless communication.
  • Good Listen/Speak/Read/Write skills in English and good communication skills in both Chinese and English
  • Self-motivated individual, with good skills in customer problem resolution.  
  • Must have good computer skills and knowledge in software such as:  MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. 



  • Pre-sales involvement to proactively support customer quality requirements and needs, support new product design in checklist and survey for quality portion.
  • Communicate customer’s specific product qualification, reliability requirements, needs and feedback to appropriate internal groups for alignment.
  • During new product Pre launch, communicate customer requirements and provide prototype build data back to HQ to assure all customer’s requirements for reliability and qualification needs are met (package and device qualification requirements), and ensure a smooth prototype ramp to MP.
  • Post-sales involvement for quality issue resolution and continuous improvement. Manage customer complaints and quality concerns to customer’s satisfaction.
  • During the Post launch phase (MP) to monitor customer line DPM data and manage failure return to FA lab for analysis and coordinate with FA engineer to ensure FA be completed and issue be closed within a customer satisfied cycle time.
  • Regular customer quality review and interaction to develop key relationships with the Quality/Reliability team at the customer’s location, as well as work with Corp group and APAC operations to keep continuous product quality improvement.
  • Serve as host of customer audit and coordinate audit to ensure audit go smooth and open actions to be followed up within a customer satisfied cycle time.
  • Review and approve customer quality checklist, survey, and customer quality documentation.
  • Work closely with local Sales/FAE team for all aspects of customer quality activities, target on ‘Perfect Quality Performance’ for customer to support company business growth.
  • Customer relationships build and total customer satisfaction achievement on quality portion.
