We are seeking a highly skilled UWB Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join our team and support our automotive customers in implementing UWB solutions.

Job Summary:
As a UWB Field Application Engineer (FAE) focused on the automotive market, you will provide expert technical support to customers integrating UWB technology into their automotive systems. Your role will involve working closely with engineering, product management, and customer teams to ensure the successful deployment of UWB, Fira, and CCC (Car Connectivity Consortium) compliant solutions. Your expertise in embedded Linux, C programming, and basic schematic and PCB layout reading will be critical in guiding customers through the integration process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer in-depth technical assistance to automotive customers in the design and integration of UWB technology, ensuring compliance with Fira and CCC standards.
  • Work with customers to understand their specific needs and develop customized UWB solutions, leveraging your expertise in embedded Linux and C programming.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to UWB integration, including software, hardware, and system-level challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, product management, and sales, to ensure alignment on customer needs and product capabilities.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends and developments in UWB technology, Fira, CCC standards, and automotive communication protocols, sharing insights with the team to drive innovation.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology and its automotive applications. Experience with Fira and CCC (Car Connectivity Consortium) standards.
  • Strong knowledge of embedded Linux systems and C programming language.
  • Basic understanding of schematic reading and PCB layout analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, contributing to overall project success.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
