Based in Fort Lauderdale and open to Toulouse, Nice or Paris, we are opening a new position for a Sr. System Security Expert dedicated to our Automotive product line. Their primary function is to define security requirements and guarantee security level implementation in Qorvo UWB Automotive Products and solutions, matching customer needs and industry standards’ expectations. They will also contribute to the definition of the system architectures (UWB HW & SW) , accompany the development made by in-house teams and/or contractors, from PoC level to integration and deployment into our customers vehicles and keyfobs.

Part of a transverse security expertise team, she/he coordinates security requirements and design with product definers, solution architects, Marketing, as well as with HW and SW teams.

They will be a key interlocutor with our lead and strategic Automotive customers for the relevant security topics.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Define security goals at product level, take part in product definition
• Define requirements and architecture, security mechanisms to be implemented in HW and SW
• Identify vulnerabilities, audit HW and SW implementation and provide design mitigation
• Work with Product Line Marketing, Solution Architects, SW Product Owners and Project Managers to review market / customer needs and requirements, contribute to the product roadmaps, accompany the implementations, define threat modelling and review system validation to guarantee security level
• Will guide the team to reach Certifications when applicable
• Stay up to date with latest security standards and threats
• Be the interface of choice for automotive customers and for 3rd parties for security related topics

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor or MSEE degree in a relevant electrical / software engineering disciplines
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience
• Strong knowledge in cryptography, security of embedded sstems, IC product lifetime cycles management, ARM Trust Zone and related software partitioning, secure boot loaders and FOTA techniques and architectures
• Proven ability to understand and breakdown complex, multifaceted programs and projects into manageable pieces, organize cross-functionally and drive execution

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in semiconductor industry, ideally involved with Automotive secure MCU and / or Automotive connecvity products
• Knowledge of secure element, Secure OS, Java cards/Applets and NFC ecosystem, certifications (NFC Forum….)
• Experience with CAN, NFC and Secure Elements
• Experience with AutoSAR and software automotive standards like Aspice, MISRA-C
• Experience with IC certification such as SESIP 3 or similar
