Senior Applications Engineer

We are looking for an Application Engineer to support Qorvo's Wi-Fi products.  The candidate will be responsible for supporting Wi-Fi chipset vendors and customers adopting Qorvo products. The primary function is to provide the required engineering support to internal and external customers, for products in development or released by Qorvo, Inc.


This position is located in the Bay Area.



  • Work with customers to perform detailed tunings of Qorvo's Wi-Fi  RF front-end products including power amplifiers PA, integrated front-end modules FEM, switches, low noise amplifiers LNA, RF filters, etc.
  • Perform testing and debugging of product evaluation boards, customer reference design boards, making improvements as necessary, following up with training material as needed
  • Help support Qorvo's Engineering with maintaining the laboratory working practices, equipment, and re-work needs
  • Preferably knows about WiFi & IEEE802.11 technical standards, and how to use Wifi related laboratory equipment



  • Proven track record with previous WiFi or RF experience
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience of RF equipment including, signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Hands-on experiences on RF circuit/product debugging
  • Experiences with RF circuit design, filter design, impedance matching, and PCB board schematic and layout tools
  • Bachelor's Electronics Engineering (or foreign equivalent) preferred
  • Experience level: 5+ years of experience
