DUTIES: Develop a comprehensive understanding of mobile product portfolio to provide exceptional application support for both customers and internal teams. Deliver technical guidance to customers during product evaluations and assist sales teams to ensure optimal performance and satisfaction. Partner with sales and marketing to craft technical proposals and presentations that effectively demonstrate product capabilities. Conduct hands-on lab testing to identify and resolve issues, including RF front-end tuning and optimization for reference designs and smartphones. Utilize tools such as Agilent ADS and Microsoft Excel to analyze RF subsystems. Build enduring customer relationships and work in close coordination with the sales team to achieve seamless technical integration and commercial alignment.  Responsibilities include collaborating on handset and smartphone RF section designs and applying knowledge of communications standards such as LTE. Work with RF and microwave circuits and operate a variety of laboratory equipment, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, noise figure analyzers, oscilloscopes, and power meters. Develop comprehensive test lab procedures, test plans, test reports, and failure analysis documentation for RF and microwave components and products. Design and develop IF/RF and microwave circuits, components, and subsystems based on marketing inputs and customer requirements, under the guidance of senior engineers. Analyze and validate designs through simulation, followed by prototype testing to verify performance. Modify existing designs to enhance performance, quality, manufacturability, and production yields. Prepare layouts, block diagrams, and schematics in collaboration with other engineering design teams. Perform tolerance and worst-case analyses, debug circuits and systems, and identify, isolate, and resolve performance issues.

 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field and 6 years of experience stated herein to involve: (1) Handset or Smartphone design experience of RF sections; (2) communications standards, LTE to include working with RF/Microwave circuits; (3) operate various lab equipment including Network analyzer, Spectrum analyzer, Noise Figure analyzer, Oscilloscope, Power meters, etc.; and (4) generate test lab procedures, test plans, test reports, and failure analysis reports for RF and Microwave components and products. Also, 1 year experience stated herein to involve: (a) design and develop IF/RF and Microwave circuits, components and sub-systems based on marketing inputs and customer requirements under guidance of Senior Engineers; (b) analyze and validate designs through simulations and verify their performance by testing prototypes; (c) modify existing designs to improve performance, quality, manufacturability, production yields, etc; (d) prepare layouts, block diagrams and schematics in collaboration with related engineering design teams; and (e) perform tolerance, worst-case analysis, debugging circuits and systems, identifying, isolating and resolving performance problems.

 

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience stated herein to involve: (1) Handset or Smartphone design experience of RF sections; (2) communications standards, LTE to include working with RF/Microwave circuits; (3) operate various lab equipment including Network analyzer, Spectrum analyzer, Noise Figure analyzer, Oscilloscope, Power meters, etc.; and (4) generate test lab procedures, test plans, test reports, and failure analysis reports for RF and Microwave components and products. Also, 1 year experience stated herein to involve: (a) design and develop IF/RF and Microwave circuits, components and sub-systems based on marketing inputs and customer requirements under guidance of Senior Engineers; (b) analyze and validate designs through simulations and verify their performance by testing prototypes; (c) modify existing designs to improve performance, quality, manufacturability, production yields, etc; (d) prepare layouts, block diagrams and schematics in collaboration with related engineering design teams; and (e) perform tolerance, worst-case analysis, debugging circuits and systems, identifying, isolating and resolving performance problems.
