Staff CMOS/Digital Systems Engineer

  • In collaboration with Technical Lead Engineers and Lead Design Engineers, architect the module and sub-modules, especially from a digital control/signal routing perspective.  Develop schemes to protect modules from various conditions.  
  • Develop various module and sub-module specifications, and document the concept of operation, especially for the digital design, control, and overall module timing requirements.  Leverage experience to eliminate/avoid problems and achieve smallest, simplest solutions for complex control needs.
  • Help lead multi-disciplinary engineering groups in understanding optimum control of modules, develop design automation tools, and support verification efforts.
  • Develop specification verification testbenches and corresponding module programming mode tables
  • Provide customer support and interaction regarding module operation
  • Support Qorvo participation in Industry Standards bodies to improve current industry standards and develop next generation standards. 



  • Understanding of analog, digital, and RF design principles and associated requirements.
  • Ability to focus for long periods of time with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop logical programming code.
  • Ability to work individually, as a team member, and lead by influence within a team.
  • Ideal candidate understands analog, digital, RF design and software programming, along with how each discipline interacts with and relates to the other disciplines – especially in a wireless/mobile industry. 
  • 7-10 years industry design or systems engineering experience
  • Masters degree or Ph.D preferred.
