DUTIES: - Develop an extensive knowledge of the company’s cellular product portfolio, providing world-class applications support to our customers. Technical applications support both customers evaluating our products as well as internal sales personnel. Assist sales and marketing in preparation of technical proposals/presentations. Hands-on lab work to identify and resolve issues as well as tuning to optimize products on reference designs and smartphones (RF front-end). Analyze RF subsystems using tools such as Agilent ADS and MS Excel. Develop close relationships with the customer and coordinate activities with the sales team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: -  Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with a focus on RF and Microwave, Mobile communication, Wireless network and 2 years of experience stated herein to involve: (1) handset or smartphone design experience of RF sections; (2) communications standards, including 2 of the following: LTE, UMTS, GSM, EDGE, WCDMA; (3) test equipment such as Communication Call Boxes, Spectrum Analyzers, and network analyzers

ALTERNATE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with a focus on RF and Microwave, Mobile communication, Wireless network and any experience, knowledge, internship, or coursework to include: (1) handset or smartphone design experience of RF sections; (2) communications standards, including 2 of the following: LTE, UMTS, GSM, EDGE, WCDMA; (3) test equipment such as Communication Call Boxes, Spectrum Analyzers, and network analyzers

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company. 

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $139,235 - $170,000, relevant for the California Bay Area (subject to change dependent on physical location) 

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
