Our Power Management BU is expanding, and we need top talent to support our growing number of new devices. We're seeking a hands-on Staff Systems Applications Engineer for technical support of Motor Control series chips across automotive, industrial, and consumer markets. Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for technical support of Motor Control series chips.
- Develop motor control peripheral example code, including ARM Corte M0, M0+ and M4F.
- Schematics diagram and PCB layout design.
- Development BLDC/PMSM motor control and BMS solutions.
- Cooperate with colleagues in other departments to analyze and solve technical problems.
- Cross national and cross reginal technical communication to solve technical problems.
- Write technical documents in the process of design, development, and technical support.
- Prepare training documents and train Sales/FAE/Customer engineers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in automation, power electronics, control engineering or related majors and 12+ years' experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in MCU firmware development, and proficient in C/Assembly and other programming languages and able to develop GUI's.
- Strong background in control theory and experience in motor control algorithm development (FOC).
- Understand basic switching power supply knowledge, including LDO, back/boost and Flyback topology.
- Experience with firmware development on ARM Cortex M0, M0+, M4F MCU.
- Good English listening, speaking, reading and, writing ability.,
- Good communication, expression and problem analysis and debug ability, team spirit, and strong learning ability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with embedded hardware (MCU) support package (Integration with Matlab).
- Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink environment and embedded coder generation for motor control.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with version control systems like SmartGit.
