Summary: The Defense & Aerospace Business Unit is looking for an experienced Space Product Line Manager focused on driving space services and product line growth.  We are looking for a high energy teammate to drive space product strategy, promotion, pricing, and day-to-day product line management. This person must also have an in-depth knowledge of space qualification standards as it relates to RF and control products. 

 

Essential Responsibilities:
•    Develop growth strategies for Qorvo's space qualified products and services.  Products may consist of filters, discrete transistors, power amplifiers, 
     control products, biasing solutions, and solid-state power amplifiers (SSPAs)

•    Set space product line strategy to grow revenues and profitability, including development of product line roadmaps, margin improvement, and 
     contribution to the Annual Operating Plan.

•    Define, validate, and justify the kick-off of new products to support roadmap and strategic plans with clear communication of value proposition and 
     competitive positioning.  Understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitive environment is critical.  Develop MRDs (Market 
     Requirement Documents) and ROI analysis.

•    Assist customers in defining the appropriate space qualification requirements for their application. Champion new products through the development 
     process.  Ensure close collaboration and coordination with design, manufacturing, quality, test, finance, marketing, and distribution so that we meet 
     customer needs.

•    Establish product and services pricing models and develop customer specific pricing strategies in coordination with Markets and Sales teams to 
     maximize revenue and profitability.

•    Promote products, roadmap, and capabilities to customers and train internal and external sales teams.

•    Support product line forecasting to meet market requirements while being mindful of inventory risk.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

•    Knowledge and understanding of standards and specifications MIL-PRF-38534, MIL-PRF-38535, MIL-STD-883, EEE-INST-002, PEM-INST-001.

•    BSEE degree in electrical engineering and at least 5 to 10 years related Space market work experience

•    Experience working directly with space customers in RF and control markets.

•    Direct experience working with Defense & Aerospace customers is a plus.

•    Demonstrated successful execution of Space product line and services growth.

•    Attention to detail, strong analytical and business skills, and ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

•    Ability to read and understand customer space specifications and requirements and propose a solution.  

•    Proven ability to influence, drive and manage cross-functional teams. 

•    Excellent communication, meeting facilitation and presentation skills.

•    Experience with outbound marketing and content generation strategies.
