It is an exciting time to join the fast-growing Defense Aerospace Products (DAP) Business Unit, focused on advanced RF components for the defense, aerospace, and SATCOM markets. We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Business Development Manager to drive growth within the DAS Market Space across all the products and services offered.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding market presence across key strategic accounts. You will work closely with customers, sales, engineering, product teams and operational teams to align market needs with Qorvo’s technology capabilities and to accelerate revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow revenue and market share that coordinate and combine DAS product lines and capabilities.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the defense, aerospace, and SATCOM markets.
- Build and maintain strong customer and sales team relationships through regular engagement, promoting Qorvo’s products and capabilities.
- Work with customers to understand system requirements, design challenges, and future program needs, translating those insights into actionable business opportunities.
- Partner with product line management, engineering, and sales teams to align customer needs with DAS product strategy.
- Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) by contributing market intelligence, revenue forecasts, and strategic growth plans.
- Assess customer opportunities that complement DAS strategy and product roadmaps across the defense, aerospace and satcom markets. Including analysis of TAM/SAM, customer program details, competitive environments and emerging application trends.
- Help shape value propositions and business cases for new products and customer-specific opportunities.
- Coordinate and support proposal development with the cross functional teams.
- Represent the business in customer meetings, industry events, and strategic discussions to strengthen market visibility and position.
- Train and support internal and external sales teams on portfolio positioning, customer value propositions, and target applications.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across sales, engineering, manufacturing, quality, finance, and program teams to support business capture and successful customer engagement.
- Approximately 15% travel.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent amount of advanced education and experience.
- Experience in business development, strategic marketing or customer-facing roles in RF or semiconductor markets.
- Understanding of RF technologies, compound semiconductor ICs, and related subsystems.
- Ability to understand customer specifications and support development of compliant proposals and growth strategies.
- Strong analytical, business, and strategic planning skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience with RF products and Defense & Aerospace customers is strongly preferred.
- Master’s degree in business or engineering.

This position can be located at our Richardson TX or Chelmsford MA office.

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $100,700 - $131,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
