RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sustain processes in a semiconductor fabrication facility
  • Reveiew and react to SPC control of thin film deposition processes and related equipment
  • Disposition manufacturing holds for the thin film area
  • Assist in the recovery of down equipment in the thin film area
  • Assisting the engineering team with the development of new thin film deposition processes and equipment evaluation

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • HS Diploma/GED required and 1-2 years relevant work experience in semiconductor manufacturing
    • 2yr degree in a technical field such as electronics is preferred
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of fab metrology equipment, failure analysis techniques and process control techniques
  • Direct experience with semiconductor thin film deposition processes, characterization, and development are preferred
  • Good teaming, communication, cross functional problem solving are required
  • Proficiency expected in methodical experimentation techniques
  • Expertise in the use of JMP, Spotfire, or other data analytics software is preferred
  • Experience in the use of advanced process control and semiconductor tool fault detection is preferred
  • Experience in the use of AI or machine learning is a plus
  • Applicant will be a self-starter that can integrate diverse process and characterization data in root cause investigation of yield issues
  • Project management skills are a plus
  • Job function requires support of a manufacturing facility operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Position will demand large amounts of time working in a cleanroom environment
  • Some lifting and standing will be required.
