Qorvo’s Mechanical CAD Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.
The student in this position will be exposed to all aspects of defining, designing, and releasing of Qorvo’s Mechanical CAD designs. A guided process will be utilized to ensure accuracy, and consistency. Our internships provide you with all training needed to complete your assignments.
Responsibilities may include:
- Developing mechanical designs and Assemblies from concept to fabrication backed by thorough engineering analysis.
- Designing test sockets and test fixtures as needed.
- Participating in design reviews with hardware and product design teams
- Using a standard process to find the root cause of issues and identify opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Some experience with SolidWorks, AutoCad, 3D CAD Modeling.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.
Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31/hr- $42/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
