This role will provide support to Manufacturing and Test Engineering in an expanding RF/DC Test floor in ISO compliant, class 100 semiconductor fabrication cleanroom.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Conduct DC and RF testing from DC to mmWave frequencies in an RF test environment

· Setup and calibrate [S] parameters and power test stations following Qorvo standards

· Perform limited test setup troubleshooting, assemble fixtures, wire harnesses

· Interact with test engineers to support test setup improvement when applicable

· Report test progress to supervisor and internal customers

· Support training sessions and provide guidance to less experienced team members

· Work closely with manufacturing, process and equipment engineering to resolve problems and meet production schedules.

· Review statistical test control charts for process quality and react to out of control conditions

· Use standard software applications (MES, FPS, Spotfire, Camline, FDC, MS Office) to perform job tasks

· Identify and address potential areas for improvement and optimize safety, tool availability, cycle time, utilization and cost

· Work overtime as needed to accomplish the duties and responsibilities required of the job

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent amount of experience

· 2+ years of experience in RF component testing

· Versatility and ability to work on multiple tasks

· Proficient with test equipment including PXI systems, RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, noise figure analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multi-meters

· Knowledgeable in RF testing includes S-parameters, noise figure, power, pulsed power, high power RF, TOI

· Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills

· Operate as a team player with a positive attitude

· Proficient in MES, FPS, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows-based software

· Experience with concept and practices of Theory of Constraints, Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing is desirable.

· This factory position requires wearing cleanroom attire and protective equipment, and standing for extended periods of time during a 12 hour shift
