Summary:

Qorvo has an opening for an Equipment Technician at our Richardson TX assembly facility. The candidate’s prime responsibility will be to maintain, troubleshoot and repair assembly equipment in a fast paced, high mix factory.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on various pieces of assembly equipment (such as, but not limited to Datacon die attach, K&S wirebond, Disco saws, ASM SMT equipment)
• Assist with equipment installation / de-installation / moves.
• Work closely with process engineers and operators within the factory
• Assist in LEAN activities (organization, 5S, continuous improvement)
• Position requires working a compressed work week.

Qualifications:

• Related Associate Degree or equivalent military experience
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• This role will require supporting a manufacturing facility that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Position will demand large amounts of time working in a cleanroom environment
• Lifting (up to 50lb) and standing will be required.
• Strong problem solving skills, and hands on ability are critical to this position – must be comfortable troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
