NOTE: Because this is a student internship, candidate must be a currently enrolled student in a degree-seeking accredited program.


This is a full-time Intern position located in Richardson, TX. The position will be temporary in nature and last approximately 3-months.

Job Summary:

The model candidate for this role is a motivated Electrical Engineering PCB design professional. Responsible for creating and modifying PCB Designs and detailed CAD drawings with keen attention to DFM/DFA using IPC standards, design specifications and circuit understanding. Contribute as an individual as well as collaborate closely with RF Design Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Component Suppliers, Software Developers, and Process Engineers to create designs from concept thru manufacturing and test.


  • Work closely with RF Design Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Component Engineers, and Process Engineers to create designs from concept to schematic, to layout and assembly.
  • Create or update fabrication and product assembly drawings, using ADS, Altium, Solidworks, Cadence Allegro, or AutoCAD.
  • Generate ECOs (Engineering Change Orders) to release completed drawings and BOMs.
  • Implement changes to existing documentation based on input from engineering and the manufacturing teams.
  • Review BOMs and Drawings as they are transferred from engineering to manufacturing to ensure correctness and all documentation is transferred properly.


  • 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • US Person or Green Card Holder.
  • Proficiency with ECAD tools such as ADS, Altium, Cadence, ADS, and/or AWR.
  • Some knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively manage timelines and expectations, and produce high-quality deliverables.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, excellent written and verbal communications skills.
