NOTE: Because this is a student internship, candidate must be a currently enrolled student in a degree-seeking accredited program.

 

This is a full-time Intern position located in Richardson, TX. The position will be temporary in nature and last approximately 3-6 months.

 

Job Summary:

We are recruiting for a Device Engineering Intern. As a device engineering intern, you will define, model, and analyze innovative BAW (Bulk Acoustic Wave) devices used for RF filtering applications. You will be involved in the development of models used to understand the links between physical and electrical properties of the device. You will also have "hands-on" experience, defining experiments (prototyping in fab) and analyze data from real devices to compare with your models

 

Desired Degree:

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering

 

Responsibilities:

  • RF modelling of Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) resonators and filters
  • Data analytics
  • Define controlled experiments
  • Simulations using commercial softwares (MATLAB, AWR, ADS, ….)
  • Summarize and present conclusions to the team

 

Qualifications:

•    Must have completed coursework in RF (radio frequency)
•    Must be familiar with semiconductor silicon fab processes (Photolithography, Deposition, Etch …)
•    Experience required with RF/analog circuit simulation tool (e.g. AWR, ADS …)
•    Experience required with MATLAB/Python
•    Experience in RF circuit design is a plus
