Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) to coordinate with internal teams and customers to address and resolve product quality issues. The CQE will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing quality planning, control processes, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with customer specifications and industry standards such as ISO and IATF16949.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to discuss and resolve product quality issues raised by customers.
- Provide timely updates to customers regarding the status of quality issues and requests.
- Participate in product quality planning and control processes based on customer specifications and requirements.
- Communicate customer feedback and expectations to the quality management team.
- Prepare and update all necessary quality reports as required by customers.
- Collaborate with the quality management team to identify and develop problem-solving methodologies for quality issues.
- Maintain product quality documentation in compliance with ISO standards and IATF16949 (Automotive) requirements.
- Support ISO audits alongside the quality management team.
- Work with Quality Managers and other stakeholders on continuous improvement efforts related to quality issues (A3 problem-solving).
- Address customer quality issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
- Experience with customer quality engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and IATF16949 automotive quality management system.Strong problem-solving skills and experience with quality improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and customers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Background in semiconductor manufacturing or RF device.
- Experience working with contracts related to government procurements.
- Knowledge of Data analystics and statistical processes.
- Knowledge of 8D problem solving methodology.
