Reliability Engineer

Qorvo Reliability located in Farmers Branch Texas is seeking a talented and motivated Reliability Engineer who will be responsible for performing HAST, HTOL, ESD, and other qualification tests. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and proficiency in utilizing reliability software tools and parametric test systems. Candidates for this position should be familiar with JEDEC and Mil standards.  This position reports to the Site Reliability Director.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Layout/design BHAST PC boards
  • Prepare test plans including thermal characterization and biasing schemes
  • Prepare test equipment/hardware to perform ESD, HAST, HTOL tests
  • Interface with test board assembly suppliers
  • Prepare reliability reports and communicate to internal and external customers,

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in EE or Physics
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in reliability testing
  • Familiarity with parametric test systems, LabVIEW, and Visual Basic
  • CAD layout software experience
  • Knowledge of qualification test requirements
  • Experience with ESD, HAST, and HTOL testing
  • Data analysis skills, (Minitab experience would be beneficial)
  • Strong communication, presentation, follow-through, and organizational skills
