Qorvo’s RFIC Design Engineering Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, and Connectivity and Sensors business groups.  Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

 

The successful candidate should demonstrate proven capabilities in the following:

· Currently pursuing an MSEE or PhD with coursework in Analog Integrated Circuit Design, Semiconductor Physics and/or Device Fabrication

· Understanding of basic circuits, at transistor level (e.g. amplifiers, bias networks, attenuators, switches, and detectors)

· Knowledge of microwave components (e.g. transmission lines, power combiners/splitters and filters)

· Basic understanding of semiconductor processes, as well as device physics and fabrication

· Familiarity with design and circuit simulation tools such as Cadence Virtuoso

· Basic knowledge of methods for making electrical measurements · Basic knowledge of Linux and scripting (Python, C, Matlab)

· Have strong attention to detail, be a good communicator and a self-starter

 

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $28.85/hr - $37.45hr (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
