RF Test Engineering Technician

This position requires access to ITAR/EAR technologies and is limited to US persons.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Setup, calibrate and perform High Power RF and small signal s-parameter measurements.
  • Troubleshoot complex RF test and hardware issues with very little supervision.
  • Data logging – familiar with MS Excel for data entry, analysis, and graphing functions.
  • Prototype assembly – able to solder SMT components and construct various test fixtures as needed.
  • Technician will review test results with engineers to ensure performance specifications are met. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Focus and or Maury Microwave load pull experience preferred but not required
  • Knowledgeable of RF Test: Testing includes s-parameters, high power RF, pulsed power, harmonics, ACP, video band width (VBW), digital pre-distortion (DPD), modulation testing various schemes (LTE/TDD, WCDMA, QAM, etc.)
  • Good written, oral, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision
  • 5 + years of RF Test or equivalent relevant experience
  • Proficient with test equipment including RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multi-meters.
  • Associates degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred or equivalent relevant experience
