The Connectivity & Sensors Group (CSG) is a leading global supplier of connectivity systems and components, including Ultra-Wideband, Bluetooth, Matter, Wi-Fi, cellular IoT and MEMS sensors. Markets for CSG include smart home, automotive connectivity, industrial automation, smartphones, wearables, gaming and other high-growth IoT connectivity market segments. 

 

We are recruiting for several Project Manager (PM) roles within Qorvo’s Automotive Connectivity Business Unit (ACBU) RF Semiconductors and Ultra-Wideband Modules and Connectivity Components Business Unit (CCBU) Mobile WiFi Components.

 

A Hybrid role that can be located in Greensboro, NC or Chelmsford, MA, this is not a remote position.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop project plans, schedules, risks and budgets, aligning business unit goals and customer needs with Design, Engineering, Product Line Management and Quality cross functional teams
  • Drive the execution of programs and work directly with the Product Line Managers to meet schedules and remain in budget while exceeding customer expectations
  • Plan and track prototype material and builds for new product development
  • Track Project Milestones, Deliverables, change requests, report on status, blockers, critical path, risk mitigation and impacts to project plan
  • Lead cross functional team meetings, facilitate communication and execution, work with managers to address bottlenecks and resource balancing issues
  • Collaborate with functional managers to address issues and conflicts in the project
  • Manage distributed project teams and efficient meeting management according to standards
  • Analyze impact of changes, bottlenecks and issues encountered in the project

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical, Engineering Degree at the Bachelor’s level is required; Masters and/or MBA desired
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience working in program/project management required 
  • Technical experience (e.g., design, product engineering, applications engineering, etc.) required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to coordinate discussions and action plans with internal engineering, operations, and business unit teams required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Jira and SAP systems
  • Proven ability to influence and drive internal suppliers and customers and cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Experience in semiconductors or RF communication components industry
  • Understanding of Lean concepts or Six Sigma is desired
  • Proven ability to influence and drive internal suppliers and customers and cross-functional teams without formal authority
