Project Manager Intern

Qorvo’s Project Manager Internship is offered in our Advanced Cellular group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment. The position will last approximately 12 months.

Responsibilities may include:

* Support Program Managers (PMs) with Customer Program engagements

* Assist product management team to support improvement to manufacturing processes to maximize assembly yield

* Create and maintain metric reports using data management tools

* Update Program and Project Management Documentation as needed

* Transcribe existing standardized work and assist in generating undocumented standardized work into Qorvo format

* Bill of Materials maintenance and creation

* Support and/or Lead continuous improvement projects

Qualifications:

* Currently pursuing BS MS, or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or mechanical engineering

* Minimum GPA of 3.0

* Analog/RF components course work and/or experience is helpful

* Experience with statistical analysis and data processing tools such as Power BI and Spotfire

* Working knowledge of project management and software tools such as Wrike and MS Project

* Knowledge of Lean concepts a plus

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

* Detail oriented to ensure design and delivery of high yielding products

* Self-Starter with strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information
