We are recruiting for a Product Quality Technician; it is a strategic leader in Qorvo’s High Performance Analog (HPA) including Defense & Aerospace Products and Infrastructure products with annual revenue of approximately $1 billion.  The incumbent will ensure the timely release and high quality of packaged products/technologies meet customer requirements for infrastructure and defense products.  This position will be based in Richardson, TX.




  • Managing logistics and maintaining schedules of product qualifications
  • Coordinating multiple qualification projects at one time
  • Assisting Product Quality Engineers with failure verification and failure analysis submissions
  • Assisting with PCB development and ordering when necessary
  • Assisting in determining methods or actions for continued quality improvement
  • Soldering components on a PCB using a microscope when necessary
  • Ability to perform electrical testing on MMW RF packaged parts and evaluation boards a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot several types of issues
  • Ability to keep several products organized and sorted
  • Good motor skills are critical when working with small components
  • Collecting, filtering, and documenting large amounts of data: Spotfire, JMP, etc.
  • Ensure the timely release and high quality of packaged products/technologies to meet customer requirements for infrastructure and defense products within the High Performance Analog (HPA) business unit.
  • Required to perform multiple tasks for multiple projects with aggressive schedules.




  • Associate's Degree in Electronics or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Internship or work experience in the semiconductor field.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of Office 365 suite including but not limited to Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of structured problem-solving techniques such as Lean Methodology, Kaizen
  • Basic understanding of microelectronics qualification techniques required
  • Understanding of JEDEC and/or Mil-Spec standards
  • Basic understanding of radio frequency (RF) physics is a plus.
  • Data analysis and scripting experience on Spotfire software, JMP, or other statistical software analysis tools required.
  • Knowledge of structured problem-solving techniques (8D)
