Qorvo’s Product Engineering Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, and Connectivity and Sensors business groups. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

 

Responsibilities may include:

  • Providing yield plans to meet company targets and lead improvement efforts
  • Conducting data analysis/mining/extraction utilizing statistical methods and related software tools
  • Ensuring data accuracy through correlation between test platforms and maintaining product history and documentation
  • Developing test plans for prototype and production electrical testing
  • Interfacing with Design, Fab, Test, Applications, Product Management, and Quality Engineering teams to support in the development of high yielding products and resolve manufacturing issues
  • Creating scripts or dashboards in JMP and/or Spotfire to automate Product Engineering tasks
  • Assist with the development of software tools to assist in Product Engineering deliverables

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a dual degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science/Engineering
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Analog/RF circuit design coursework and/or experience
  • Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers preferred
  • Software/Coding Exposure: ADS, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Cadence, Dynamic Link, VBA, Python and/or C# is preferred
  • Exposure to JMP and/or Spotfire is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Detail oriented to ensure design and delivery of high yielding products
  • Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information
