Responsibilities:

 

Product Development:

  • Evaluate robustness of new product designs to variations in the manufacturing process.
  • Maximize probe yield through extensive probe to module correlations and establish proper specifications.
  • Analyze product designs to insure DFT (Design For Testability) and DFM (Design For Manufacturability).
  • Support module design engineering team with extensive probe level data analysis and performance reports.
  • Work with design to run simulations towards resolving yield and quality issues as well as to guide FA efforts.
  • Conduct extensive bench testing towards yield/quality investigations and optimizations.
  • Work closely with design in Development to master device performance, deficiencies, yield/quality challenges
  • Work with across functional team, including design Dev Eng, Process, Module PEs, Test, NPI, PM, Technician during development on product issues
  • Work with device and design engineering in setting up product specific definition and parameters.


New Product Introduction:

  • Support NPI activities, including work on MHB/UHB BAW technology devices and LB/MHB work in LRT SAW.
  • Support ramp activities, with focus on DFC yields and performance.
  • Support NPD208, filter centering work and correlation to ready to devices for production release.
  • Establish proper test coverage at probe to verify and guarantee final product performance.
  • Monitor initial product yield and quality and drive improvement efforts.
  • Plan and execute product qualifications to ensure reliability.
  • Coordinate activities for manufacturing release to meet scheduled milestones.
  • Develop/optimize probe test solutions and release of probe in early development maps.


Manufacturing:

  • Determine root causes of nonconforming product and take appropriate action.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate defects and nonconforming material.
  • Actively engage FAB operation/engineering and Assembly/test sites to maintain quality and yield  

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum BSEE with a preferred focus in RF Engineering
  • Candidate with MSEE is preferred
