Product Development Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide development engineering and production support for discrete and/or integrated RF Front-End products, including RF power amplifiers, switches, antenna tuners, digital components, and others by: 

• Development of test plans 
  • Coordinate with Design, Test, Application and Quality engineering to create and maintain high volume production test plans which are utilized to guarantee product data sheet compliance and manufacturing defect detection/screening 
• Maximizing product test yield 
  • Employ appropriate Statistical Process Control principles to monitor and control process variability 
  • Compile and analyze test data using common statistical techniques (Time-Series Analysis, Capability Analysis, Anova, Multivariate, etc.)  
• Providing world class internal and external customer support 
  • Rapid data analysis and recommendation to key stakeholders
• Leading and participating in issue resolution projects 
  • Engage in group problem-solving and process improvement projects utilizing lean methodologies
• Continuously improving: 
  • Development of new or improvement in existing data analysis and extraction tools 
  • Participation in supervised and unsupervised learnings 
  • Utilization of design of experiments

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Education: BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree preferable 
• M.S. in Electrical Engineering or Data Science desirable 
• Experience level: 2-5 years industry experience preferable 
• High volume production test and/or fab processing experience desirable
• Proficient in the use statistical analysis programs such as JMP or Spotfire preferable
• Proficient use of SQL, Python, R, and/or JSL desirable 
• Familiar with RF Front-End components or other wireless communication devices desirable
