Responsibilities:
- Investigate failure modes for electrodeposition related processes and drive suitable FA methods to identify/fix the root causes.
- Research, evaluate, characterize, qualify, and adopt new materials in process/product development work to deliver robust process.
- Work closely with technology/process development teams to understand the needs and help deliver robust interconnect solutions.
- Collaborate with Universities/Research Institutes to solve issues and test new materials.
- Position may require travel to other Qorvo or vendor sites to support the work.
Qualifications:
- MS/PhD in Chemical/Material Science Engineering, Chemistry, Physics.
- 3+ years of semiconductor/battery technology experience. Focus in electrochemistry and/or metallurgy is a significant plus.
- Proficient in semiconductor measurement/analysis techniques such as SEM, AFM, SIMS, XPS, STEM.
- Self-starter with good communication skills.
- Data analysis and programming skills to aid data mining.
- Position will demand large amounts of time working in a clean room environment. Some lifting and standing will be required.
