About the Qorvo Software Group (QSWG) 

When you work with QSWG, you are part of a team of that’s defining what’s next in wireless communications. Centered around game-changing Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology, QSWG is enabling new applications in a multitude of markets, from mobile phones, gaming and smart home to education, healthcare, automotive and industrial manufacturing—just to name a few. And some of the applications aren’t even defined yet. That’s where you come in. 



The Qorvo Software Group is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with responsibility for developing and working on Microcontrollers within the organization. The microcontroller team currently works on the development of a UWB stack, from the low level driver to the full end user API. The environment includes Nordic and STM32 platforms, on FreeRTOS, Zephyr or even myNewt.

The Embedded Engineer will bring their expertise to work on specifications and functionality of the UWB stack. As an Engineer within the OSWG team the successful candidate will take responsibility to produce high quality solutions to run Qorvo Hardware products into the future.



  • Developing and implementing Software for embedded devices and systems.
  • Work with complex algorithms and data structures, write code from the ground up and test and improve existing code.
  • Participates in multidisciplinary research and collaborates with hardware engineers in the design, development and utilization of software.
  • Work on Software configuration and management tools as requested by managers, including defect tracking tools and peer reviews.
  • Work within a team demonstrating a knowledge of best practices for full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build process, testing and operation.
  • Design, develop, test and debugs software.



  • Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience 
  • 3+ years industry experience in Embedded Software Development.
  • A proven track record demonstrating the ability to work autonomously as well as a demonstrated background operational excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of C and C++ is mandatory
  • Knowledge of FreeRTOS, Zephyr or MyNewt is required
