Qorvo Munich GmbH, a subsidiary of QORVO Inc., is looking for a Sr. RF Module Design Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team in Munich, Germany!

In this role, you will design and integrate RF front-end modules for mobile applications, including PAs, LNAs, switches, filters, and other components within highly compact multi-chip modules. You will work closely with customer specifications, simulation tools, characterization, and production ramp support to develop high-performing module architectures and troubleshoot design performance.

Responsibilities:  

• Responsible for module level design and integration of PAs, LNAs, switches, filters, and other components into highly compact multi-chip modules (MCM) for mobile applications
• Analyzing customer specifications and developing module architectures to meet customers' requirements
• Implementation and continuous refinement of schematic/EM simulations of laminate-based modules using tools like ADS, HFSS, etc.
• Analysis and troubleshooting of sample performance and improvement of simulation accuracy
• Define and organize characterization, design verification, test, and production ramp support
• Regular documentation and presentation of results

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of related experience or an equivalent amount of advanced education and expereince
• Experience with RF or Microwave module design in the 1-10GHz range
• Proficiency with ADS or AWR and HFSS or other EM tools
• RF system knowledge (ACLR, NF, IP3, Rx-Sensitivity, Isolation requirements, etc.)
• Understanding of 4G and 5G cellular protocols and frequency bands of operation
• Committed to execute tough schedules and positive attitude to solving technical challenges
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Preferred Qualifications:

•  PhD in Electrical Engineering
• Basic knowledge of digital circuits and software programming skills
