Intern RF Characterization & Test (m/f/d)

This is a full-time Intern position with a duration of approximately six months and corresponding remuneration. Alternative part time models may be possible, completion of a MS Thesis in the framework of the internship can be supported.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• RF characterization of RF front end modules and components for 4G/5G cell phone applications
• Development, calibration, and verification of test systems
• Implementation of hardware and software for automated and semi-automated RF tests
• Hands on build up and debugging of test setups.
• Analyzing performance data and supporting design engineers to ensure accurate product characterization.
• Characterization lab maintenance
• Documentation and presentation of results

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently enrolled in M.Sc. university program for Electrical Engineering
• Focus on RF and/or Telecommunications.
• Knowledge of and hand-on experience with test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, etc.
• Working knowledge of programming languages
• Hands-on mindset, knowledge of RF theory and measurement setups
• Very good English and preferably good German language skills
