Qorvo's Materials Research Intern positions are offered in our R&D business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.
Responsibilities may include:

Research different types of bump options for next gen products
-
Study failure modes of existing parts
-
Investigate under bump metal options
Qualifications:
-
Currently enrolled in MS/PhD program in Physics/Chemistry/Chemical/Material Science Engineering

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions

Ability to perform work autonomously and take initiative
-
Inquisitive and motivated (for learning purposes but also to get an action/task completed)
-
Ability to commit 20 hours over 2-3 days a week for 6 months
