SUMMARY: 

Qorvo is currently seeking a Project Manager to join its IT Manufacturing Systems Hillsboro team. This is an exciting, multidimensional role and opportunity for growth within an experienced, high-performance IT group which designs, develops, and supports manufacturing and business intelligence systems for Qorvo.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter proficient in project management, business process analysis, industrial engineering concepts, and cross functional support. In addition, strong problem solving, verbal and written communication, inter-group coordination, multi-tasking, and teamwork skills are required.

This position is a stakeholder facing role and requires the management of expectations within the business and drives cross functional IT team to achieve those expectations to the agreed standard. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Lead and support IT Manufacturing Systems projects as Project Manager across our MES, Factory Automation, Industrial Engineering / Business Intelligence, Advance Process Control, and site support portfolio.
• Understands the status of the projects, provides insightful risk analysis of the project, drives team to resolution, and escalates accordingly to ensure successful delivery of project schedule, scope, spend, and sustainability
• Lead and facilitate Business Process Analysis allowing for To-Be-State quantification and translation into actionable deliverables in integration solutions for disparate systems and in support of planning and manufacturing potentially across multiple Qorvo sites.
• Partnering tightly with Manufacturing Systems team members and subject matter experts to determine requirements are meeting client area expectations.
• Maintains awareness of technology trends and identifies opportunities to incorporate new tools, software within existing and new solutions while prioritizing stability and consistency. 
• Be an ambassador for IT, working across the business to provide effective communication on IT matters and build relationships with other teams to ensure effective dialogue between departments.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent combination of training and experience required
• 12+ years of demonstrated experience serving roles effectively within project management, or other leadership roles or in planning/industrial engineering roles, preferably in manufacturing environments
• Semiconductor industry experience highly desired
• Working proficiency using Smartsheet, Wrike, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams or similar project management/collaboration tools
• Working proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
• Working proficiency with relational database design, SQL query construction, stored procedures (preferably MSSQL, Oracle, Databricks, MySQL) is a plus
• Desire and ability to be curious and learn/evaluate new software and tools where needed in support of business objectives.
• Motivated, dedicated individual with a very strong collaborative, knowledge sharing teamwork orientation. 
• Able to operate autonomously and accurately on each assigned project or task 
• Adept at business knowledge acquisition, comprehension, and retention to drive continually enhanced expertise levels and a passion for service improvement
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with our internal customer

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability for some travel to Qorvo locations (< 20%)
