Equipment Maintenance Technician

Thin Films Equipment Engineering Technician provides senior technical support from Mon, Fri, The technician will work closely with Equipment Engineering, Maintenance Management and the compressed workweek maintenance teams to drive PM Consistency, tool availability, capacity & cost projects, and provide standardized technical training for all tools in the module. The training that you would be responsible to provide may require an occasional compressed workweek schedule.
•    Complete high level engineering owned projects with minimal support, equipment installs, improvement efforts, and parts qualifications
•    Spare Parts Management, including kitting parts, testing refurbished parts, second sourcing spares, vendor qualification and evaluation
•    Coordinate consistent PM performance across all four shifts through TPM standardization activities, conduct after action reviews and track PM execution
•    Provide technical training for CWW maintenance technicians and author/update training procedures, BKM’s, documents and specs
•    Applicants must have at least 5 years of experience at a senior level and be considered an expert on most if not all toolsets in the target module
•    Associate degree or vocational equivalent in Electronics, Mechanics or the Computer Sciences
•    Must be willing to work Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 3:30pm (though there is some flexibility in start time), and willing to work overtime as needed. Must be at morning pass-down.
•    The job requires working with a diverse mix of technical people on all 4 shifts, maintenance and engineering. Applicant must have demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•    Experienced MS Office user proficient with Excel and Word. Access and Power Point a plus.
•    Experience with high level tool support for Litho, thinfilm, etch equipment. 
•    Must have a strong background in mechanical troubleshooting, High Voltage, RF theory, high vacuum systems, robotics, electronics and electrical troubleshooting, and programming
