NOTE: Because this is a student internship, candidate must be a currently enrolled student in a degree-seeking accredited program.


Job Summary: Selected intern will work with our Equipment Engineering and Metals Process Engineering team. With the guidance of experienced engineers, the intern will be tasked with responsibilities of Equipment sustaining, equipment upgrades and modifications. They will participate in the qualification of the processes / equipment to run production material and review and analyze product qualification data. Knowledge of electronics, mechanical systems and vacuum science is desirable, Knowledge of chemistry / physics, semiconductor processing and statistical process control (SPC) are desirable for the successful candidate, but not necessary


• Learn to provide 1st level sustaining ownership of Metal deposition equipment.

• Matching equipment output between different manufacturing tools

• Troubleshoot and find root cause of equipment/process problems in the factory.

• Assist experienced engineers in equipment sustaining and improvement as well as qualification of new equipment.


Desired Degree: BS Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 



• Currently enrolled in BS program 

• Student must have some knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems

• Self-Starter with good communication skills and a willingness for “hands on” engineering work in the factory

• Can work independently but understands and communicates with the team when help is needed

• Must have a 3.0 GPA or Higher
