NOTE: Because this is a student internship, candidate must be a currently enrolled student in a degree-seeking accredited program.

 

This is a full-time Intern position located in Hillsboro, OR. The position will be temporary in nature and last approximately 6-months.

 

Desired Degree: BS/MS Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

 

Job Summary: In this role, the intern will be working with EDA/PDK Engineers in the team to develop and enhance PDK automation scripts and regression testing for the design kits used in RF technologies. Intern will work with the PDK, R&D and design teams to collect automation requirements, and will develop, test, and release the automation scripts based on these requirements. Intern will also be working on enhancing and refining PDK regression system (regression scripts and test case repository).

 

Qualifications:

  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Proficient with programming/scripting, preferably with Visual Basic, Python, Perl, or C
  • Course or project work in Software architecture and/or GUI development
  • RF course or project work
  • Familiarity with RF/Digital design platforms such as Cadence AWR, Cadence Virtuoso, or Keysight ADS
  • Coursework in Electrical Engineering fundamentals including circuit theory, transistor theory and familiarity with schematic diagrams and layout

 

Responsibilities:

  •  Write automation scripts for RF design
  •  Update and overhaul existing scripts that need to work with the latest RF technologies.
  •  Create documentation and provide training to the R&D/design customers on PDK automation
  •  Enhance and refine PDK regression system with updated comparator scripts
  •  Collect and add test cases to the regression repository.

Remote: This position requires candidates to be onsite
